Functioning
BIOSAFETY CABINETS CLASS II are designed for protection of operator, product and environment from pathogenic agents and
microorganisms transmitted in respiratory way and also for creation of abacterial dust free air environment.
Application
BIOSAFETY CABINETS CLASS II are used as separate workplace equipment in medical, pharmaceutical and other institutions working
with pathogenic agents that require special air cleanliness (virologic and bacteriologic laboratories working with group III-IV pathogenicity microorganisms,
producing ready-made sterile medicine, etc.).
- HEPA filters are made by a German firm whose quality management system is certified ISO 9001:2000; they were tested under
EN 1882-1 Eurostandard and provide air purification with the efficiency of 99,9995 % for 0,3 µm particles.
- No contamination risk from plenum (internal high pressure chamber is completely surrounded by low pressure zones).
- Automatic microprocessor system controls air flow velocity
- Control system LCD display shows the turning on of production systems,
their possible malfunctioning, operating mode chosen, and technological timer.
- Electronic shield panel provides easy exploitation and disinfection
- The unique design of the UV-unit allows to move it under the table-top during work which does not prevent
the movement of air flow.
- Table top perforation provides the air flow direction in the working chamber and it creates the air veil preventing
the ingress of pathogenic agents and volatile liquids in the laboratory environment.
Operator’s hands do not break the veil due to the special design of perforation.
- HEPA filter is clamped with springs that provide the filter tightness for the whole operation life
- Filter replacement is made through two special side openings.
- The working surface is made of several components for simple disinfection, autoclaving and removing poured liquids from the tray.
- All electric control systems are not placed in the main working chamber; that provides easy access for repair and avoids opening the
main chamber where pathogenic agents are possible to remain
- Front panel incline improves the view of the working chamber and increases the usable table area.
- The cabinet top cover has a O250mm flange that makes possible the connection to air exhaust system
- Platform has screw supports for cabinet fixing and regulation and wheel supports for easy cabinet installation and movement

Functioning
Biosafety Cabinet Class II /Type A/ Vis-A-Vis is designed for simultaneous work of two operators sitting opposite each other.
- The cabinet can be partially or completely closed by the UV-unit from one side, from the other side by a special panel which moves under the table surface during the working time.
- The design of the front panel provides the fixed distance between the edge of protective glass and the table surface
at which the maximum protection of the agent and the operator from contamination is provided.

Attention!
The connection to the exhaust system with productivity not less than 1015 m3/h is obligatory!
The laboratory should be equipped with the forced ventilation with productivity not less than 1000 m3/h.
The cabinet is designed for protection of the operator, product and environment from pathogenic agents and microorganisms of groups II-IV pathogenicity,transmitted by the air-drop way
when carrying out microbiological operations with the use of toxic chemicals.
- No air recirculation in the working chamber
- The contaminated air is effectively cleared and completely removed into the external exhaust system
- Due to the difference of air in-flow and out-flow, in the front window there is an air veil preventing the pathogenic agent ingress into the laboratory air environment
