Biosafety Cabinet Class I (operator and environment protection)
BAV -"Laminar-S" - 1,2 (code 110.120) BAV -"Laminar-S" - 1,5 (code 110.150)
Functioning
BIOSAFETY CABINET CLASS I is designed for operator and environment protection
from materials hazardous for operator’s health.
Opearation principle
The operation is based on the forced removal of hazardous substances from the working zone through the air up-flow,with high-effective air filtration and its exhaust into the environment.
Working with 2 agents, there is no risk of their cross-contamination owing to unidirectional (laminar) air up-stream.
- HEPA filters are made by a German firm whose quality management system is certified ISO 9001:2000; they were tested under
EN 1882-1 Eurostandard and provide air purification with efficiency of 99,9995 % for 0,3 µm particles
- HEPA filter is clamped with springs providing the filter tightness for the whole operation life.
- Ø205 flange for connection to external exhaust system with the check valve at the air output point.
- The electronic control system provides automatic control of air flow velocity regardless the filter impurity;
there is indication of necessity of filter replacement.

- Additional Sockets
- Gas and vacuum supply chokes
- contaminated air
- inflow
- purified air
